Inriver & OrigoVero
Your first Digital Product Passport, live
Digital Product Passports arrive industry by industry. Batteries come first, from February 2027, and textiles, furniture, tyres and electronics follow under the EU's ecodesign rules. Each rule brings new data demands, and most teams expect to buy a new system every time.
Inriver and OrigoVero walked through a working battery passport end to end. The battery is first in line, and every step applies to whatever you sell: extend the data model, validate the data, approve and publish.
In the room
Attendees extended an existing Inriver data model with new regulatory attributes, checked the data for completeness and consistency, routed the record through human approval and published the passport through OrigoVero and scanned it on their own phones.
What they took away
They left with a repeatable four-step pattern for every upcoming regulation, a realistic view of what DPP means for your product data model and the timeline for your own product category.
